James began as an intern with The Bank of New York on Wall Street. After working in Securities Lending for several years he was selected to join JP Morgan’s Global Services Management Program where, upon graduation, he secured a coveted position within the Common Custody Solutions Group in Dallas, TX. In 2001 he moved to Atlanta and joined EarthLink Wireless’ Sales Operations & Distribution unit. During his tenure with EarthLink he was certified in Lean Six Sigma and participated in a $440MM joint venture between SK Telecom of Seoul, South Korea and EarthLink to form the Sprint MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator) formerly known as ‘Helio’. In 2006 James joined Cbeyond where he was promoted to Vice President, General Manager of Inside Sales and grew a team from four to over 100+ sales associates nationwide generating over $42M in recurring revenue, maintained the lowest attrition in the company and was a finalist for The Stevie Award for National Sales Executive of the Year. In 2011 James joined Turner Broadcasting as their Senior Director of Mobile & Connected Device Solutions where the team won an EMMY for Outstanding Creative Achievement for Interactive Media - Enhancement to a Television Program or Series - Team Coco (The Conan O'Brien Show). James serves on the board of directors for the Mobility Society of TAG [Technology Association of Georgia] and holds a bachelor degree in International Business from Villanova University.
