Why how you define failure matters

Too often in startup culture, founders attempt to mimic the success of other companies. 

The problem is, no matter how detailed the road map, your success is specific to you, your team, and the resources you had available at the time of launch.  What I can do though, is learn from your mistakes, because mistakes are unfortunately repeatable (over and over again by different people in the exact same ways).

So rather than shun discussing how we have 'failed,' why not change how we view failure so that it is something that empowers the startup community in Atlanta.
