Digital Identity: Redefining Ourselves, Our Business, Our World

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session will explore the concept of digital identity - personal, professional and social - and how this digital construct is changing the way we interact with others, the way we conduct business, and the way we address global issues. Topics include: elements of digital identity, creation of digital identity, determining value and worth in a digital age, and protecting it. Using real-world examples the session culminates with a look through the looking glass: as we define our digital selves, who will we meet on the digital side of the mirror?

This session is appropriate for those interested in:
1. the cultural revolution of digital technology;
2. understanding how customers define themselves digitally for marketing purposes;
3. engaging students to learn more effectively in this digital era;
4. addressing global concerns through digital advocacy (such as global health, etc.).
5. those curious in what digital identity is and how it is different from other forms of identity
6. those who want to protect their digital identity
