Customers of Dunkin’ Donuts tend to see Dunkin’ as part of their everyday lives, but six years ago the brand wasn’t even on social media, a large part of their customers’ lives. Over those six years Studiocom has partnered with Dunkin’ and taken an inbound, fan-centric approach to social and grown to one of the most admired and widely-covered social brands online. In this session we’ll look at the Dunkin’ social strategy, answer the question of how to go from zero to hero, and dive into what it means to let your fans dictate what your brand really is.

Social media isn’t as scary as it once was. The platform is proven and brands have succeeded in harnessing the power of social communities to increase sales, conversation, and engagement with their customers. Using Beggin’ Strips as an example, we’ll discuss the process of building a page and community from scratch to a successful social brand. We’ll examine the challenges of working with an audience outside of the purchaser demographic, the curation of content, and finding success on a tight budget. We’ll answer how to go from puppy to big dog on social media.
